*Taking a moment to celebrate the Monday thru Friday's*
You probably thought I was going to talk about my dog today right? NOPE! Gonna give it a rest for a minute ;) As I've already been over, this week was full of highs and lows. But on Tuesday, a particularly hard day, I received a special new piece of jewelry that I haven't taken off since...
X.XI. MMXIV (aka 10.11.2014 the day I got married!)
That picture is cut off perfectly so you can't see the five zits I have on the upper half of my face. The stress...anyways! I am really into the small delicate jewelry right now, but I only will buy something if I know I will wear it a lot, a lot, a lot. I'm not big into earrings, or bracelets or rings (like no wedding ring, crazy I know) but I almost always throw on a necklace. I alternate between an "M" pendant, a small wishbone, and a little gold Michigan necklace. They obviously all have to mean something personal to me ;) And this one could easily be layered with another one of my favorites as well.
I've been thinking about getting a custom bar necklace like this for a while, but I just didn't know where to start. Etsy completely overwhelms me...so when I saw someone (a completely random person I follow haha) post on Instagram about a necklace they had made from Dear Heart Designs, I immediately checked out their website and placed an order all in about two minutes. Every piece is made to order and hand stamped, so they are all unique and different. I love knowing that this was made just for me, and being reminded of this date makes me so happy. Since I don't wear a ring, its a nice little token to carry around and wear close to my heart. And since no one else knows what it means, its like my own little secret :)
And how cute is the packaging it comes in?!
If anyone would like to check it out, her website is www.dearheartdesigns.com. *Bonus points- she's from Texas! There are so many other cute pieces of jewelry too. I can imagine if I was a Mom going crazy with the dates and initials on everything. Well I guess I am a dog Mom now aren't I.... ;) But I won't get that weird.
Happy weekend! x.
