Just thought I would get that right out there in the open to catch anyones eye who's serious about not washing their hair. I've joined the wonderful world of washing my hair every other day, and I love it. Reason being; I'm just lazy. I can remember a time when I would wake up every morning and shower, then blow-dry and straighten my hair. But nowadays? I shower at night and usually blow-dry it for a minute or two, sleep on it and then curl a few pieces the next day, OR most of the time, clip/pull it back. I just do not have the cares. (My high-school self is dying inside lol.) There's just so many things I would rather do than dry my hair for 20 minutes every night. (I prefer night showers nowadays.) So, in an attempt to get into bed quicker to do things like watch something with John/kiss Ted repeatedly, I'm cutting out the hair washing part every other night. (To be clear, I still shower every night.) I know this is all the rage right now and there are a million dry shampoo recommendations and tricks/tips but I don't even know. I need help. Right now I have the "Not Your Mothers" brand, which I just like ok. I have oily hair, so I might need something a little stronger. Help.
I keep talking about how busy I am, and I am (busier at least)..but I also prioritize. And by that I mean, I make sure I can watch Netflix at least once a day. If I don't get to in the mornings, at night I always get super excited like, "I'm going to watch a show tonight!" I'm such an adult. Anyways, I am flying through Parenthood episodes lately. Last Sunday, I think I watched like 8 episodes. (I actually wasn't keeping track of how many, but it felt like a lot.) And I kept saying, "I love today" haha. My sister just got this tank top, and now I'm temped to buy it too.
Anyways. Not sure how to break into this topic, but... I finished our Christmas cards this week and they are currently on their way to my mailbox! It was something I wanted to knock out really early this year (I skipped last year because we moved/were busy) because I don't want to think about it in December. Next up is figuring out something easy for a Christmas gift. I love Christmas, but kind of hate it. Present giving is stressful. I'm thinking the same thing for everyone this year. I will probably share the card I decided on when it gets closer and is more timing appropriate, haha, but here is one that I was playing around with that I REALLY wanted to do..
