20 questions.

I saw this on Sarah's blog last week and I just find it fascinating to learn about people, so I'm stealing it. And it was originally 21, but I liked the idea of 20 questions so I skipped one. (In case you're wondering it was "do you have kids?" because no, that's boring. Everyone knows that!)

#1. Are you named after someone?

Yes my Moms sister died before I was born and she was Virginia Morgan, and I'm Morgan Virginia. I hated my middle name growing up, but I love it now. May even pass it down someday.

(Not really sure this baby is even me lol.)

#2. When was the last time you cried?

Last night trying to give Ted a bath (because he rolled in the dirt all day). He was sopping wet and shook himself and got my glasses all wet, and I went, "you f*cker!" And then cried. Only for a second though, ha.

#3. If you were another person, would you be a friend of yourself?

Um, maybe. I mean I think I'm nice and friendly and all, but I'm really hard to make actual friends with in real life though. I don't let many people in for some reason. (Probably because then I feel obligated to see them/talk to them/keep in touch and I'm not good at that. I don't like those obligations lol. Maybe not a good friend then?)

#4. Do you have any guilty pleasures?

Yes, too many to list. Instagramming on the toilet? Just kidding.....

#5. Do you like handwriting?

Weird question, but yes actually. I applied for a job recently that was basically writing thank you cards for companies, haha. NO response back, but that's like my dream. And to learn calligraphy someday.

#6. What is your favorite cereal?

Life Cinnamon and Reese's Puffs. But I never, ever buy them.

#7. What is the first thing you notice about people.

*Update - I realized it's definitely clothes. Like usually I'm thinking, "is that a Tory Burch bag? Is it  real? How does she afford a Tory Burch bag? I want a Tory Burch bag." Or I see someone wearing a vest and think, "I should wear more vests" or I see someone wearing boots, "I should wear more boots." Literally go to Costco and will notice what every single person is wearing. (And creep at what's in their cart.) I'm just very observant.

#8. Do you have any pets?

I guess I could have skipped this one too, because DUH. Everyone knows that. But in case you didn't, I have a dog named Ted.

#9. Scary movies or happy endings?

I haven't watched a scary movie since high school.

#10. Favorite TV show?

Ever? I don't know. Maybe True Blood. Or Grey's Anatomy back in the day. I used to live and die for Thursday night Grey's. Bret Michaels Rock of Love? That was a good show. I guess I go through phases.

#11. Summer or winter?

Spring.

#12. Hugs or kisses?

Hm..well assuming this applies to everyone, hugs. I am a hugger for sure. I was leaving someones house yesterday and I was totally overthinking my goodbye in my head like, "do I hug theses people?" Because I know not EVERYONE loves a hug like I do. So I didn't....and I felt like my goodbye was really awkward because of it, ha.

#13. What is the furthest you've been from home?

Um, Rome maybe. I don't know, I didn't measure it. But I don't really remember because I was in don't look at anybody/don't talk to anybody/have to pee mode so I black out.

#14. Do you have any special talents?

Not really. I can paint my nails really well. I am really, really good at folding clothes. Is that a lame talent or what? My friends and I did win a talent show in 8th grade.

#15. Where were you born?

FUNNY QUESTION because this is something I am trying to remember. Just a few weeks ago I was doing the TSA precheck thing and she asked what city I was born in, and I was like....fuck, because I always forget. I frantically texted my Dad and she let me google but all I could remember was that it started with a C, so I guessed. I finally got smart and put a note in my phone.

#16. What are your hobbies?

Um, this blog I suppose. Reading. Making trail mix.

#17. What color are your eyes.

I think hazel, but I feel like that's trying too hard to be "special" so I always will answer green.

#18. Favorite movie?

Clueless. Know every single word.

#19. What color is your car?

Black. I like black. I think it's actually my 4th black vehicle.

#20. What did you want to be when you grew up?

Don't laugh....a fashion designer. I had a sewing machine in my room and I'd make headbands to match all my outfits. And I'm not talking about like as a child, I'm talking like as a 16 year old girl, haha. Embarrassing.

So that's me in 20 random useless questions! Might be quiet over here this week, so I thought it'd be fun to do this real quick this morning. Anyone else want to play??

  1. Very interesting, especially the comment about your name source. I would love to learn calligraphy as well. Apparently there are even online courses for this. Good luck at your new job this week. And thanks for the referral to my site :)

    1. I have heard some people do it online, but I just do not learn that way lol. I would need like a real live person to teach me. Someday!!! It's my dream.

  2. Hahaha omg I love that you used to make headbands to match your outfits. That totally makes me think of Gossip Girl because one girl always made clothes and another always wore headbands so if you put them together...that's you! Also that baby picture really doesn't look like you. I feel like that baby looks Asian. Hahaha. I actually suck at folding clothes, which I think is a weird thing to suck at, but anyway, I wish I was good at it!

    1. Lol yes, I came across it in my search to work from home. Apparently companies will like hire out these communication companies to write handwritten cards to send to clients. Like we used this company once to order something for Ted and we got a handwritten thank you card after and I was so impressed. But now I know it probably wasn't really them lol.

  4. Jason's favorite cereal is reece's puffs, too!! They really are so good and we def buy them on occasion. I totally used to make headbands, too!! Like i sold them on etsy for a while haha so not dumb!! (but maybe I'm biased) if you look back in my sales on etsy you can see when I sold like 10 headbands/ necklaces i had made. I did it up until college so maybe that is laughable! Just thought it was funny you made headbands, too!! twins! And Virginia is a cute middle name!! It's like dainty, ya know? That would be cute to pass on to your future daughter :)

    1. Mine is just random, like my parents lived there very briefly when I was tiny so I've never even been there. And for real, they baby swapped me for that picture for sure.

#11 I like you, you little rebel you.
#12 I just learned like last year that there were people out there who did NOT like hugs and it killed me because I am such a hugger.

    1. I'm sure I got it from my Mom, but I just have to hug everyone. When I see them, when I leave. It's just how I say hello and goodbye I guess lol. I read somewhere that we need to hug each other more too because it releases something in our brain and makes us happy. I'm not very scientific but something like that. Makes sense to me!

  9. Omg I want that job! Is it bad that I got laughed in my head a little when I saw the crying question because I knew you would have a funny story. I always look at people's clothes too and think how I could recreate them but I never actually remember it later.

    1. Lol, I feel like girls are just crying machines. Like, we're ridiculous. Or is it just me lol? And seriously I know, I go on Pinterest and pin things and think I HAVE to try harder, but I never ever look back at my boards for any inspiration. I just keep wearing the same things over and over lol.
