..and then letting them die in my camera roll forever.
Until now that is! I always like to follow a serious post with a really (at least what I think of as a) funny one, so no one thinks I take myself too seriously. So here's one I've been wanting to put together for a while.
Does anyone else screen shot everything? If you've read my love stories, you guys know I love to hold onto a good screen shot FOREVER. (Side note - I love how the new phone categorizes them now, so I can easily find that one recipe I screenshotted 3 years ago if I ever decide to make it..) I think it's the greatest feature of the iPhone. Take a picture of a picture. Anyways, besides holding onto all of John and I's conversations I love to screenshot everything else too. Funny stuff, recipes, quotes, whatever. Usually with plans to use them later on when/if they ever become relevant (or to send to John lol). But I usually just forget about them. And they're taking up too much space, so I'm going to clear them out here and then I can start all over again.
(Most of these come from Instagram, so maybe you all follow the same people as me. BUT maybe you don't, so here it goes.)
^ this is one that I actually did send to John, and he did not respond lol.
^ for the record, I don't think I'm a bitch. I just like to use the "being myself" excuse a lot, haha. And this was a good scene.
^ this is a dressing recipe from @whatsgabycooking on snapchat. I made it last weekend. It's a keeper guys. (Just blend/food process it adding in minced shallot last for a few pulses.)
^ as I obsessively stalk Ted's breeders website for new puppies...
^ more like logs onto Blogger lol. (#dogmomforever.) (Jk, not ever.) (I hope..)
^ my (much cooler) sister is always telling me what to buy. Anyone else use this tarte? I tried a sample once and it did not blend well. Also, so $$$..
^ I follow this @letterfolkco account because a) I want one of these things, and b) I love the sayings they post.
^ basically I save anything about dogs lol.
^ or anyone who recommends books. This is from @melissa_hartwig, the creator of whole30. Also unrelated to screenshots, but I've been watching her Youtube videos lately. Super inspiring woman.
^ I've been getting some weird ass comments on the blog lately, usually on older posts. Like really, "With Hold?" I've read this like ten times (just now lol) and I'm convinced a non-human put this together.
^ want. Someday. Someday when I have a permanent wall, haha.
^ does this seem ridiculous or not? I like the idea, but it might be one of those things that SOUNDS really easy but isn't. (Another side note: I pretty much stopped following all my favorite, unhealthy foodie accounts and started following healthy ones. That's a tip I'd pass on, guys. It helps. I mean look, now I want to make BEET chips for guac!
^ I need to stop cursing around here (although that's not technically me...), but I liked this. I feel like I never know how I'm feeling until I get on Pinterest and then I'm like, "YES, YES, YESS." Lol.
^ I told you, haha. Dog everything.
Until next time. xx
