(super short) March leftovers.

I'm a little bit late...again, but I just realized it was April. Like, how is it already April?? Apparently time flies when you're not really doing anything, ha. Anyways -here's what's leftover from March in my camera roll.

I'm looking at this now thinking, "whyyy didn't I instagram that while I had the chance!" I get really bored in traffic on my way to work so I'm always trying to take pictures. Most turn out to be nothing,  but this one's pretty cool looking.

Also a picture taken on my drive. The flowers and the tree's started to bloom a few weeks ago and I have to be honest...North Carolina's looking pretty good.

From a day date a few Sundays ago. Seriously good homemade onion rings. I'm allowing myself a cheat meal once I'm through with the 21 day fix, before I start...another one...yes...and this is where I want to go. But not for the onion rings, for the pie.

Somewhere I probably won't be going to again, haha. So we went to Bojangles for the first time ever last month, and we were like such amateurs. First of all she was talking so fast and was like, "what's your fixing'? And we were like, "uh. What?" Then John took like ten minutes to read the menu (inside) and we were just so awkward  so we left and took it home, haha. It was pretty good though. And I got "Cheerwine" to drink, which is like a big thing here. I thought it tasted just like Faygo Rock n' Rye if you're a Michigan person. (And I did get the kids meal, Jessica!)

From our long, long drive to Michigan. How pathetic looking is he haha?

So no surprise, but I'm obsessed with workout clothes right now. I feel like I'm basically living in them anymore between working out everyday and babysitting. I've discovered Marshalls is THE best place to find a good steal. I got an entire Nike outfit for like, $35. (Also Nordstrom rack is really good too.)

Food pictures are not really my thing (at least not when it's my food, haha), but I'm seriously having so much fun in the kitchen lately. Our fridge was pretty bare the other weekend and I put together a spinach, kale and egg quiche with a sweet potato "crust" (diced, sautéed with tumeric and honey) and then topped it with super thinly sliced shallots. Seriously, someone get me on Chopped.

Annnd that's literally it. Until next time. xx

    1. Thanks! I'm weird, I love to have "breakfast" for dinner. I could probably just eat breakfast food alone and be totally happy lol. xo

  2. That quiche looks so good! I found a super cute tie dye sports bra for like $15 the other day at a local chain store that's similar to Target...I kind of want to go back to buy it. I love fun workout clothes, they make me actually want to work out. Ha!

    1. I know! It's such a motivator. If I like my outfit, I try harder. Or it's just in my head. But no actually, that's pretty much true in everything in life. If I get ready, I always have a better day. So it works!!

  9. That's such a cool picture of those buildings!! The trees around here started blooming about two weeks ago and I was in heaven! And then this weekend it snowed all weekend and I'm afraid it killed everything. :( It's supposed to be nice here this week though so hopefully they come back to life!

  10. That's always how it goes doesn't it? Spring comes out for a minute....and then the weather turns and it's back to winter again. It's been raining here for days and everything's looking pretty sad now.

  11. PLEASE COME COOK FOR ME! "I threw this together" *makes amazing dish that I could never create or throw together* haha seriously, just had to comment on that FIRST. Anyways, Ted looks sooooooo big/ old!! like not grandpa old, just becoming an adult old!! Little cutie! and holy cow NC is gorgeous! I would not mind moving somewhere green someday. Is it getting warmer there now? It's like already 100 here aka summer haha AZ skips spring.

    1. Ew really, 100?! That's way to hot already lol. But you're probably used to it. Sometimes I think I would like AZ but then I remember that I've never lived anywhere that wasn't really "green" so it would be totally weird for me. I also start to feel trapped if there's not any water nearby lol. But....I think cactuses are cool and all that stuff so maybe I would like it.
