OK, SO HOW CUTE IS THIS HOUSE?! I know you can't really see it, but just trust me, it is. Whenever we've had a free Saturday, we've started just driving around checking out areas around Dallas since it's SO HUGE and we don't really looove the area that we're in now, but I think last weekend we finally found where we want to look! (Next year! Not now! I wish!) This area was SO CUTE. SO CUTE it probably made this house cuter than it really is, haha. (FYI: this one is for sale, that's why we were driving by it/taking pictures of it.) We're really pretty simple, we want three bedrooms, ONE FLOOR (I know we're weird), a yard for Ted, TREE's (and not those little puny ones, REAL trees), sidewalks and in more of an established neighborhood. I love new houses as much as the next person, but there's something just so charming about a neighborhood with a little history. AND THERE WAS A GIANT PARK RIGHT DOWN THE STREET!!! Anyone from Howell/Brighton, totally similar to the Imagination Station, except newer. We're seriously obsessed and HOPING AND PRAYING that next year we will be able to find something around there. Since I worked in mortgages, I know that no one is buying/selling right now but come next Feb/March, the market will be popping' (yeah, poppin') so FINGERS CROSSED! The only thing I wonder is....who is going to cut that grass, haha? (Can I hire a neighbor kid, lol...?)
And in my very own adult related news, I may finally be getting a real camera. It only makes sense that someone who blogs, "markets" their own fitness biz, likes to share recipes etc AND HAS A BEAUTIFUL CHILD ON THE WAY have a really nice camera right? Who can tell me what to get? There are two we're looking at getting on Black Friday. Canon or Nikon? HALP.
And in baby news, we had our (I like to say "our" like I'm two people now hahaha) 15 week appointment and John has insisted that he is coming to EVERY appointment now, so he tagged along and it was pretty cute that he was there. Nothing really exciting happened. (And thankfully nothing weird, lol. I'm glad he wasn't at the last one..) But he got to hear the heartbeat and ask his favorite question, "can she hear me?" LOL. The doctor said yes, and that she can always tell Dads who talk to babies. So we're doing nightly chats with her now.
Okay, now this post is turning out to be just a lot of questions, but I'd rather ask someone than research, lol. I'm hoping to get Christmas cards ordered within the next two weeks and I used Shutterfly last year, but is there anything...cheaper? I cannot spend like $2 per a card. (That sounds cheap, but x by 50.) I think I got the cheapest option last year, lol. But I DID get my Christmas stamps already...by accident. I went to the post office to mail some Shakeo samples and I actually was buying stamps and made the mistake of asking the nice woman if they had holiday stamps yet. And she pulled out these and was so excited about them and the blue color and the light in the middle, that I was like, "yeah those are nice. I'll take them." Not that they aren't nice. They are. I'm just not super religious. I usually get the weird cartoon ones, lol. But maybe this makes me seem more....mature. Parent like? (Kidding, lol.)
So that's about it! Super adulty! Oh wait, I did just remember one more adult thing. John upgraded our Costco membership...........in anticipation of buying diapers soon hahaha. SO ADULT.
Until next time. x
